We cleared the roof from all debris, replaced seven broken tiles and re-pointed the ridge tiles. We then applied an anti-fungal/anti bryophyitic solution to inhibit further moss growth and spray coated the roof with our Stoker Grey acrylic polymer coating.
The Job
A thirty-one year old roof, which was looking it’s age, covered in moss and lichen. The customer was looking to clean the roof and leave lasting protection from the elements.
Inspection of the roof revealed that although it looked unsightly it was fundamentally sound with no sign of cracked or broken tiles. We cleared the roof of moss, lichen and grime and also cleaned all the gutters facia and soffits. We then applied a biochemical formula that inhibits moss and lichen growth and finally coated the roof with a waterproof Kolourseal coating which is guaranteed for ten years.
