The roof was cleaned to remove the dirt, moss and algae, taking care to protect the surrounding area with covers, the broken tiles were replaced and a biochemical sealant applied. Finally, an acrylic polymer coating (which has a ten year guarantee) was applied leaving the property watertight and looking great. The customer was thrilled with the overall cost saving.
The Job
Inspection of the property revealed excessive moss growth on the roof, flaking wall paint and a damaged downpipe. Main gutter, facia and soffits were dirty and weathered and in need of a full clean and coating.
The roof, walls, facia soffits and downpipes were thoroughly cleaned and a new downpipe was fitted to replace the damaged one. A biochemical sealant was then applied to the roof and walls to inhibit further growth of moss, algae etc. The roof was sprayed in a black anthracite acrylic polymer coating. The walls were spray coated with two different colours of our Kingfisher Weatherflex coating and the gutters, facia and downpipes were spray painted with Kolourbond uPVC coating. This transformed the house, it’s looking spectacular and has a 10 year coating guarantee.
